SAVE THE GULF CAMPAIGN

Today we are proud to announce our campaign of much-needed help to the Gulf region. I wondered where all the celebrities (besides the dudes on Deadliest Catch - they rock) are and all of the concerts to raise money for this disaster? I realize no one wants to give cash to a privately owned company who really messed up, but why not to a worthwhile foundation who is tirelessly working to save the ecosystem? That is why Piece has created the “Save The Gulf Campaign” to help bring the vital resources necessary to such a cleanup. We are releasing a collection of tees, tanks and beach totes with all of the proceeds going to the National Wildlife Federation. Below you will find some pictures of a few of the designs, with more to come tomorrow. I want to stress that I am not pointing fingers or looking for the one at fault. At this point, does it really matter? Enough time has passed and a hell of a lot of oil has ruined the world already, and it’s time to just dig in and fix it. I can speak for Glenn and all of our friends involved that this is something we care deeply about and speak passionately of. I hope that this strikes a chord with our generation, and if nothing else, provokes thought. Please feel free to distribute these images and text, and download the press release at http://www.pieceapparel.com

thanks again, and I’m excited for the upcoming weeks.
